What to Expect
The practice begins by noticing the breath as it moves through the body. Attention rests on the rise and fall of the shoulders and the expansion of the lungs. Each breath becomes an invitation to relax more deeply, creating space for the mind to settle. Thoughts are acknowledged and gently released, allowing awareness to open.
From this place of presence, you are invited to visualize a small glowing sphere in front of you. This sphere radiates warmth, similar to the sun, and can be felt softly on the face. With each breath, the light is drawn inward, bringing ease to the muscles of the face and a sense of softness throughout the body. The warmth continues to move inward, filling the lungs and abdomen, until the body itself feels illuminated from within.
As the visualization deepens, the boundary between you and the light begins to dissolve. The sphere merges with you, and warmth becomes something you both receive and radiate. On each exhale, a gentle glow emanates outward. On each inhale, warmth is felt deep within. Breath, light, and body move together, supporting a sense of stillness and grounding.
You are then invited to bring to mind a vision of yourself and the future. This is not about planning or striving, but about sensing who you are becoming and how you wish to show up. You may notice colors, sensations, or places arise naturally. From here, an intention can form, rooted in warmth rather than effort. The practice offers space to explore underlying motivations and to shape this vision into an aspiration or statement that feels honest and supportive.
As the meditation comes to a close, the visualization gently dissolves. Attention returns to the breath and the felt warmth within the body. Even this warmth is allowed to fade, leaving you resting in the simplicity of breath and open awareness.
